In 2024, the organization focused its activities on raising awareness of human rights violations in the context of armed conflicts, documenting testimonies, and coordinating and collaborating among activists within the framework of joint human rights work. Particular attention was paid to the protection of civilians, civilian hostages, and prisoners of war, as well as responsible dissemination of information that did not compromise the safety of affected individuals or potential future investigations of war crimes.
Throughout the year, the organization launched an official website presenting its objectives, main areas of activity, and overall organizational structure. The website became a key platform for public communication and representing the organization’s position.
Regular consultations between activists were held throughout the year. These were initiated upon participant requests but took place at least twice a month. During these meetings, activists collected and recorded testimonies of human rights violations, conducted initial verification of the information, discussed acceptable formats for public use that would not endanger affected persons, and prepared materials for further human rights and advocacy work.
All information handling was carried out with due regard to security, confidentiality, and the potential needs of future national and international investigations.
In 2024, the organization also participated in Geneva Peace Week 2024, presenting work focused on the protection of civilians and the analysis of systemic human rights violations in armed conflicts. The presented materials were based on data and testimonies collected throughout the year.
At the beginning of December, the organization prepared for a meeting with the International Committee of the Red Cross on the issues of civilian hostages and Ukrainian prisoners of war. In mid-December, a working meeting was held during which collected data on documented human rights violations were transmitted and discussed. At the end of the year, the team summarized the activities for 2024 and began strategic planning for 2025.
